Why can't I copy large files over 4GB to my USB flash drive or SD card? - What are file systems?

Help 01 understand this plaease!!. My laptop has crashed and will not reboot, I beleive I have windows 10 bootable usb fat32 or ntfs free "blue screen of death" and auto repair loop of doom.
